The Children's Services Council is a higher performing organization. That means hiring highly motivated, talented people who are "on the right seat in the bus." While job skills are extremely important, how we work together and treat each other and others is of equal value when we are selecting candidates. We, the employees of the Children’s Services Council, have respect for human dignity and recognize that we are motivated by meaningful work, being part of the team and being recognized for our unique talents and contributions.
Each of us has leadership and management roles in the performance of our work. We promote participative and consultative decision-making processes. We support and encourage each other to reach our full potential by sharing information, and continuously learning and improving. We foster an atmosphere that values trust, competence, teamwork, innovation, and mutual respect. We are committed to holding ourselves and one another responsible for implementing these values.
