Florida Funders Application
Is your nonprofit agency looking for funding from local organizations? Then the Florida Funders Application, Palm Beach County's one-stop on-line grant application, is for you.
The FFA allows organizations to submit requests for funding from FFA-participating funders by using a common application form with a standard set of questions. The FFA enables organizations to submit the FFA online to all FFA-participating funders. Essentially, the project is designed to save organizations time and effort by allowing them to submit one application to multiple funders.
Along with Children's Services Council, other funders currently participating in the program include:

Online Access to Federal Grants
For information about grants from the federal government, Grants.gov is the site to visit.
If your agency has submitted a federal grant via the Grants.gov electronic portal and had to wait for long periods and/or your submission was rejected due to a “timed out” message, Grants.gov suggests that these are due to unusually high numbers of applications being processed. The website reported receiving more than 1,300 electronic applications per day from various agencies.
To provide applicants with information on website flow, Grants.gov features a link to a blog on its homepage called the “Daily Status Update” that informs applicants about the processing speed of the site and notes how many grant opportunities are closing that day. The federal government suggests checking the blog regularly to be aware of processing time and recommends submitting applications a day to a few days early.
